The Nceda Trust The Nceda Trust is an initiative birthed out of the life of the Bay Community Church. We believe in following the narrative flow of scripture that informs us to care for and assist the most vulnerable members of our society. We believe that we are those who become intimately involved in the story of God as lived out in the Scriptures, and as we such we seek to engage actively with the world around us, to bring evidence of the Kingdom of God to bear on the world around us. We accept that we see how our lifestyle and choices have impacted our society but make a choice to see the world changed. We believe that another world is possible. Pregnancy Help Centre (PHC) At Pregnancy Help Centre we realise that an unplanned pregnancy is a difficult crisis for someone to face alone. There are no easy answers or solutions. Women finding themselves in this position may need to make a choice – keeping the baby, adoption or abortion. We offer a non-judgemental and safe environment for this to happen. All our services are free and confidential. We are available to help, regardless of age, race or religion, and this help extends to those who are involved with the woman's situation.
Free services include: - Pregnancy testing & counselling.
- Before- and after-abortion counselling
- Information on all options
- Childbirth education
- Adoption referrals and counselling
- Medical and legal referrals
- HIV testing and counselling

Feeding the Poor Every week a group of dedicated helpers collects vegetables and other foods from Plumstead Pick 'n Pay and bring the goods back to the church building to sort into parcels - no matter what the weather situation is. Once sorted, the food parcels are delivered to around 20 adults and 16 children in our local area. We are in the process of arranging additional food sources to increase the number of people fed as well the amount given to each family or individual. If you would like to serve in this area please contact Sheldon Kidwell at
